Job description

We have a Full Time position open for an Infant and Toddler Preschool Teacher for our Quality Rated Center! You can learn so much in our Center! This is a wonderful opportunity to work and learn about many aspects of Infant Child Development including developmentally appropriate practices and social/emotional support. We love to help our teachers GROW and get to their next level!

Work shift: Monday to Friday 9:30 am - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties for the Infant and Toddler Preschool Teacher include following lesson plans and newsletters based on GELDS and Discovery Point's Curriculum, daily assessing children’s development, communicating with parents and management, working cooperatively with other teachers, and creating a clean and organized environment for children to learn in a quality child care setting.

You will also become a Quality Rated expert by helping classrooms develop their environments for the highest quality in child development. Beyond that you will have professional development opportunities for growth in subjects that are interesting to you!

The work hours could be between 9:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday. No late nights or weekends!

Qualifications and Skills

In order to apply you should have at least 1 year experience as a Teacher in a child care setting and have a certificate or degree in early childhood- CDA, TCC/TCD, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree or willing to enroll in the first 3 months. Experience with Quality Rated is preferred.

If you feel you are a good candidate for this position then previous coworkers should view you as cheerful, organized, creative, loving, and wonderful with children. Also, previous management should view you as very dependable, punctual, and flexible to the Center needs.
