Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or unrelated field required.
• Minimum of 3 credit-bearing hours of specialized coursework in administration, leadership or management preferred.
• Department of EEC Lead Teacher qualification required.
• Demonstrated success in supervision strongly preferred.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and supervision of classroom staff; conduct performance reviews and monthly observations.
• Design and implement curricula with trauma-informed practices; develop Individual Learning Plans.
• Model positive behavior management and effective family communications.
• Engage families, coordinate conferences and progress reports; facilitate parent engagement opportunities.
• Ensure health, safety and emergency procedures compliance; manage classroom operations and scheduling.
