Job summary

Rutgers University-Camden seeks a Program Coordinator I (Infant/Toddler Specialist) to support CCR&R services for Atlantic and Cape May counties. You will provide technical assistance, offer professional development, and help providers reach quality goals in infant/toddler care.

You will collect data for program assessment and help implement birth-to-three guidelines, with a focus on safety and best practices. A grant-funded position contingent on funds and a potential hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education required; PITC certification within one year of hire.
• Five (5) years of experience working directly with Infant/Toddler programs.
• Must be registered with the NJ Workforce Registry, maintain membership, and become an approved Trainer.
• Must have a driver’s license, in good standing, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to licensed child care centers and registered family child care providers serving infants/toddlers.
• Deliver professional development offerings and comprehensive services to improve quality goals.
• Support health and safety standards and implement birth-to-three guidelines.
• Collect data to support program assessment and development of new NJ DFD programs.
