Job summary

CAP Tulsa in Sand Springs, OK is seeking a Teaching Assistant II School Floater for a 7:30am-3:30pm schedule. The role supports Lead Teachers, plans activities, and helps create a stimulating classroom for infants to preschoolers.

You will assist with Head Start standards, attendance, meal counts, and family outreach while maintaining classroom safety and compliance. Bilingual preferred and experience with early childhood programs is favored.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in early childhood education or related field with CDA or Mastery where applicable.
• Eligibility to work with infants, toddlers, or preschool children according to Head Start standards.
• Passing a background, and ability to meet Keystone/NAYEC or CAP Tulsa credentialing timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in planning and providing a stimulating learning environment.
• Support in daily classroom operations and Extended Care Program.
• Assist with lesson planning and documentation such as monthly reports and attendance.
• Maintain positive parent/teacher relationships and support conferences.
• Perform Lead Teacher responsibilities in their absence and comply with standards.
