E Center in California is seeking a Teacher Assistant II Floater to support multiple classrooms and ensure program requirements meet health and safety standards. The role emphasizes positive interactions and developmentally appropriate activities for children.

You will assist teachers, maintain records, and help with family communications while supporting health and safety and confidentiality across assigned classrooms.

Formación

• Minimum 12 core units in Early Childhood Education with a “C” grade or better.
• Experience in a licensed child care program or facility is preferred.
• Possession of Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification may be required based on program needs.
• Valid California driver license may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist teachers in development and implementation of center and classroom activities.
• Model positive adult/child interactions and support quality teacher/child engagement.
• Maintain safe, healthy, supervised environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with family services tasks including records, calls, and parent communications.
• Support developmentally appropriate group and individualized curriculum.
• Assist with screening and assessments as assigned and keep records organized.
• Protect confidentiality of client and personnel information.
• Participate in daily center cleaning and maintenance and encourage parent involvement.
