Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our home-based Early Intervention team serving infants and toddlers.

You will conduct developmental assessments and provide PT services in the child’s natural environment, collaborate with families, and support caregiver coaching to generalize progress. Flexible schedules and locations, with travel between sessions.

Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus benefits and professional development opportunities.

Competenze

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license required.
• Pediatric/early intervention experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Mansioni

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.
• Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations).
