Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have an AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or obtain it within two years from employment.
• Must have completed at least 3 ECE/CD units related to infants/toddlers.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience with infants and toddlers.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor; team player; flexible to schedules.
• Complete mandated trainings: Mandated Reporter, SHP, Food Handling, CPR/First Aid.
• Must be able to bend, lift, and reach.
• Pass background/fingerprint clearances and health/TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Reports to assigned schedule on time.
• Develops and implements curriculum for infants and toddlers.
• Reviews child files; stays informed about medical/developmental histories.
• Identifies development concerns.
• Performs diaper changes and maintains clean changing tables.
• Supervises and cares for infants/toddlers; logs meals, naps, diapers.
• Fosters a positive, supportive learning atmosphere.
• Ensures safety for all children and parents; supports daily schedules.
• Collaborates with Director; fills in when needed.
• Communicates with parents via emails or direct contact.
