LIGHTBRIDGE ACADEMY PARAMUS is hiring a Lead Teacher for our Toddler and Infant Rooms. You will create developmentally appropriate lesson plans, manage daily activities, and build strong relationships with children and their families.

The role emphasizes safety, innovative teaching strategies, and nurturing growth in the foundational years, within a supportive team environment. Qualifications include infant/toddler experience, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with infants/toddlers in a classroom or childcare setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and methodologies.
• Curriculum development for early learners.
• Familiarity with behavior management and classroom management techniques.
• Excellent communication with parents and team members.
• First aid and CPR certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons incorporating literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum promoting development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains for infants and toddlers.
• Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to support children's social skills and emotional regulation.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress, milestones, and concerns.
• Collaborate with team to plan lessons, assess progress, and adapt teaching methods as needed.
• Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and safety protocols.
