Job summary

KCEOC Community Action Partnership in Manchester, KY is seeking a full-time Infant/Toddler Caregiver Assistant to provide center-based care for birth to three, implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and collaborate with families.

Candidates need an Infant/Toddler CDA or an Associates degree, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and CPR/First Aid certification; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA or Associates Degree required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and local travel.
• Ability to meet Head Start program standards and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of and implement the Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Promote school readiness for all children.
• Understand the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework.
• Work cooperatively with other Child Development staff in planning, integration, and implementation of EHS/HS program services for children 0 to 5 years of age.
• Become competent in the use of designated computer programs, and use them properly in the operations of the Child Development Program.
• Compile designated reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in the annual program self‑assessment process.
• Gain a working knowledge of all programs operated by KCEOC for providing information, making referrals and delivering integrated services to clients.
• Preserve privacy of all children and families by maintaining confidentiality and security of all family information.
