Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) through HELP NM seeks an Early Childhood Development professional to promote school readiness and provide developmentally appropriate care for 0–3 in a center-based setting.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to support children and families, while upholding Head Start and state licensing standards. Ideal candidates will have strong ability to supervise, be proactive about classroom practices, and share a nurturing, patient approach in a dynamic early

Qualifikationen

• Education & years of experience per the posting.
• CDA or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• NM CDC certificate / higher degree preferred.
• GOLD inter-rater certification within 6 months.
• 6 months infant/toddler teaching experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Background clearance and health/safety certifications.
• Food handlers card required.

Aufgaben

• Promote school readiness for children and families.
• Provide developmentally appropriate care for 0–3 in center-based classroom.
• Collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team to support development and family needs.
• Adhere to Head Start standards, NM licensing, and HELP NM ECD policies.
• Supervise children by sight and sound in all environments.
• Maintain health/safety regulations for an optimum learning environment.
• Facilitate health practices to keep children safe indoors and outdoors.

Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)

Ausbildung

High School Diploma/GED + CDA or willingness within 6 months

New Mexico CDC certificate / higher degree preferred

Teaching Strategies GOLD inter-rater reliability cert within 6 months

Minimum 6 months experience with infants or toddlers

Valid Driver’s license & auto insurance

NM ECECD Background Clearance

First Aid/CPR certification or obtain within 6 months

Food Handlers card upon hire
