Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. is seeking an Infant Toddler Teacher to prepare children and families for school and life success within a Head Start program.

You will provide developmentally appropriate care for ages 0-3 in a center-based classroom, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support health and family services. Minimum qualifications include CDA credentials (Infant/Toddler or Preschool with related coursework), degrees in Early Childhood Education, and experience with

Qualifications

• Infant Toddler CDA Credential or equivalent (or CDA with related coursework).
• Preschool CDA with training in Early Childhood Development may be considered with 6 months experience.
• Associate degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education required.
• Bachelor's degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education or related major recommended.

Responsibilities

• Promote school readiness for children aged 0-3 in a center-based classroom.
• Work with a center-based interdisciplinary team to support development, health, and family services.
• Comply with Head Start Performance Standards, licensing, and safety regulations.
