Job summary

Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) is hiring a Teacher Aide for the Hight Family Early Learning Center in Skowhegan, Maine. The role involves assisting with early care for children 6 weeks to 5 years, specifically in the Infant/Toddler wing (6 weeks to 3 years).

You will work as part of a team to promote development and school readiness. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, background checks and health screenings, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in group care setting for young children ages 0-5.
• Must meet background checks and physical exam requirements per agency/state licensing.
• Interpersonal and written/verbal communication and documentation skills necessary.
