Job summary

Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) seeks a Teacher Aide for the Hight Family Early Learning Center in Skowhegan. The position supports children 6 weeks to 5 years, with a focus on the Infant/Toddler wing (6 weeks to 3 years), collaborating with a team to promote development and school readiness.

Responsibilities include supporting child assessment, individualizing for diverse learners, and helping maintain a safe, caring learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in group care setting for young children ages 0-5.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet background checks and health/physical exam requirements.
• Able to demonstrate interpersonal, written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
