Center for Transforming Lives is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to provide responsive caregiving, plan learning experiences, implement curricula, and assess progress per Head Start guidelines for infants and toddlers.

The role requires delivering nurturing teacher-child interactions, maintaining a positive classroom climate, and collaborating with families to support child development and readiness.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with adults.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles.
• Creative approaches to learning in infant/t toddler settings.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise health, safety, and well-being of children.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans for infants and toddlers.
• Demonstrate sound early childhood practices and family engagement.
• Coordinate with families and staff to support school readiness.
• Make decisions affecting classroom operation with professionalism.
• Conduct two home visits/parent conferences per year.
• Coordinate classroom staff and volunteers.
