Acelero Learning Delaware is hiring an Early Head Start Teacher in Georgetown, DE to nurture infants and toddlers in a developmentally appropriate, supportive classroom. You will partner with families, conduct home visits, and integrate IFSPs into daily activities to support individualized learning.

The role requires Infant/Toddler CDA or an Associate/Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, a physical exam, background check, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA or an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Pass a physical exam and background check.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, responsive classroom that promotes healthy growth, exploration, and secure attachments.
• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and language development.
• Build strong family partnerships by conducting home visits, parent-teacher conferences, and helping families engage in their child’s learning journey.
• Support individualized learning, including children with special needs, by integrating IFSPs into daily activities.
• Track and document progress using observations, anecdotal notes, and digital tools to tailor instruction to each child’s needs.
• Ensure health, safety, and wellness through daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and transitions.
