Job summary

You will collaborate with families and staff, uphold professional standards, and help children grow socially, emotionally, and physically. Applicants should be able to assist with daily care and mobility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the classroom
• Create age-appropriate lessons aligned with High scope Curriculum
• Support social and emotional development & provide positive guidance
• Establish positive & productive relationship with families & staff
• Ensure that children are well-cared for throughout the day
• Maintain a commitment to professionalism at all times.
• Work with families and access the individual needs of each child.
• Be able to physically lift and possibly carry a 40lbs child (as needed).
• Be able to walk about 30 minutes around the neighboring park with children in strollers.
• Comply and abide by the program and state/local officials' policies.
