Job summary

Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. (4C) in Orlando, FL is seeking a Teacher Assistant-Infant and Toddler to support the daily curriculum and activities, assisting the lead teacher and ensuring timely execution of plans for ages 0–3.

The role requires a CDA Infant and Toddler credential or equivalent degree with coursework in early childhood, plus at least one year of relevant experience and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Infant & Toddler CDA certification or equivalent.
• One (1) year experience working directly with infant & toddler children.
• Must enroll in State mandated 45-hour module within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher in implementing daily curriculum and activities.
• Ensure classroom plans are carried out in the Teacher's absence.
• Help maintain records and progress reports as needed.
• Assist in developing lesson plans aligned with Head Start standards.
• Help select teaching materials to meet individual children's needs.
• Support home visits and parent meetings with the Teacher.
• Encourage parent involvement in the program and home.
