Job summary

Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership, Inc. seeks a part-time center cook/assistant to support meal preparation and cleaning while ensuring a quality environment for children and families. The role involves implementing curriculum, documenting in-kind contributions, and building community partnerships.

You will work 29 hours per week (Mon-Thu), report to the Teacher Center Specialist, and enjoy benefits including paid leave and retirement matching as part of CNCAP's program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; AA/BA in Early Childhood preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience cooking, cleaning, and working with preschool children.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the center with ensuring a quality program and environment exists for children and families by ensuring all performance standards are met in the area of meal preparation and cleaning.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Help in the center as needed with cleaning and cooking
2. Implement curriculum in accordance with guidelines/training
3. Obtain and document in-kind
4. Develop and maintain consistent community partnerships
5. Case coordination with the Teacher/Center Specialist
6. Promote school readiness for children, families, and community members
7. Participate in all required meetings and trainings
8. Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Highschool diploma or GED; prefer AA or BA in Early Childhood
2. Valid driver's license
3. Experience cooking, cleaning, and working with preschool children
