Job summary

Allied Credit Solutions is seeking a compassionate Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood program in Lynwood, CA. You will support the lead Teacher with materials, supervise children, and help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Requirements include six ECE units (three in infant/toddler development), being at least 18 years old, holding a current Child

Qualifications

Completion of at least six ECE units including three in infant/toddler development.
Must be 18 years of age.
Current Child Development Assistant Teacher Permit.
Two years of experience with infants and toddlers, including children with disabilities will be beneficial.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote security and trust through warm, responsive interactions with infants and toddlers.
Talk, sing, and read to children to support language development.
Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene as needed.
Observe children and report observations promptly to the Teacher or Site Supervisor.
Help implement and adapt developmentally appropriate activities planned by the Teacher.
Prepare materials and set up the classroom to encourage exploration and learning.
Maintain accurate daily records (e.g., meal counts, attendance).
