Job summary

VIP's Roots Early Education Center in Vermont seeks an Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher to join a caring team. You will support infants and toddlers in a safe, engaging setting, partnering with Lead Infant/Toddler Teachers to implement developmentally appropriate activities and record progress.

You'll contribute to daily routines, document milestones, and foster strong relationships with families while remaining flexible and patient to help children learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Experience working with infants and toddlers in care settings.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and engage with children on the floor.
• Flexible hours to support program operations.

Responsibilities

• Help create a safe, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers.
• Assist in developmentally appropriate activities supporting multiple domains.
• Foster positive interactions and healthy attachments with families.
• Support daily routines, feeding, diapering, transitions, and rest.
• Observe and document milestones and share with the team.
