Job summary

Playto in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an Infant Teacher to support the well-being and development of young children. You will collaborate to implement a curriculum that fosters curiosity and tracks milestones, while assisting with lesson planning and inquiry-based activities.

You will engage with children using positive language and caring interactions, supervise activities, and ensure compliance with NYS regulations and Playto policies. Daily updates for families are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Loves working with young learners and understands every child is capable.
• Willing to be CPR and First Aid certified and pass background checks.
• Experience or training in early childhood education is preferred.
• Commitment to building trusting relationships with families and colleagues.

Salary Range: $21.00 To $29.00 Hourly

As an Infant Teacher, you'll:

• Work collaboratively to ensure the well-being and development of children
• Collaborate on and ensure the curriculum will foster children's curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones, which you’ll track
• Assist with the implementation of lesson planning & inquiry-based activities curriculum
• Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
• Closely supervise children and adhere to NYS regulations and Playto policies
• Ensure app updates are provided daily for families
