Family Health Centers at NYU Langone is seeking an Infant Teacher to join our team. Under the supervision of the Education Director, the teacher will promote early childhood education, ensure health and safety, and coordinate community activities within the SUNSET PARK framework and NYU Langone Health standards.

This role emphasizes documentation of lessons and observations, active parent involvement, and ongoing professional development, contributing to our inclusive, high-quality care

Qualifications

• 85+ college credits toward a BS in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Two years of relevant experience in an early childhood setting.
• Health and safety trainings completed.
• Warm, caring and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Knowledge of NYC child care guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate lessons and supervise children.
• Document lessons and observations for daily records.
• Attend staff meetings and seek ongoing professional development.
• Encourage parental involvement and positive parent relations.
