Job summary

Bright Horizons at NYU Langone is seeking a Lead Educator to work with Infants and Toddlers. You will lead a team, implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, and model anti-bias education while mentoring new teachers and partnering with families to create engaging experiences.

This in-person role in New York, NY requires NY State teaching eligibility or study plan, a degree in Early Childhood Education, and several years of classroom experience in a NAEYC-accredited setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education and a plan toward an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.
• New York State Teaching certification or study plan eligible preferred.
• Flu Vaccination by October 15th is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in implementing high-quality curriculum aligned with our philosophy and anti-bias education.
• Be a curriculum expert and use educational quality tools to assess and enhance program implementation.
• Partner and communicate effectively with families, mentoring new teachers and serving as a role model.
