Job summary

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone seeks an Infant Teacher to support early childhood education under supervision of the Education Director. You will document lessons, observations and assessments, and engage families to promote development and safety.

You will conduct team meetings, attend staff meetings, and pursue professional development to strengthen classroom practice, while ensuring confidentiality and program quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 85 credits toward BS in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field
• Two years relevant experience
• Health and Safety Trainings
• Warm, caring and outgoing personality
• Ability to work well with others
• Able to create and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and staff

Responsibilities

• Support early childhood education for children and families in classroom and community settings.
• Document lessons, observations, assessments and necessary paperwork.
• Attend staff meetings and seek professional development opportunities to meet classroom needs.
