The Learning Experience in Ramsey, NJ is seeking a nurturing Infant Teacher to join our Infant classroom and Early Childhood Education team. This full-time role supports infants in the B classroom, following LEAP curriculum and licensing safety requirements.

You will work Monday through Friday with a consistent schedule, and receive paid training, opportunities for advancement, and benefits such as health and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and employee discounts.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous professional childcare or early childhood education experience preferred.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required.
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.

Mansioni

• Provide attentive, responsive care for infants in our Infant B classroom
• Support feeding, diapering, naps, and daily care routines
• Follow safe sleep practices and maintain a clean, safe classroom
• Engage infants through sensory play, music, movement, language, and exploration
• Implement age-appropriate activities from LEAP Curriculum
• Encourage early communication, motor skills, and social-emotional development
• Observe and document developmental milestones
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and center leadership
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
