Job summary

The Learning Experience Enfield is seeking a caring, energetic Teacher to join our team and help our littlest learners explore the world. You will create a safe, loving classroom and implement the LEAP Curriculum to support early development.

Build strong relationships with families through daily updates and milestones, while collaborating with center leadership to maintain a positive workplace and uphold CT licensing standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of professional childcare or teaching experience with infants in a licensed center
• Associate degree in ECE or related field preferred; HS diploma/GED required
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Must meet Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom for infants
• Implement the LEAP Curriculum to support early learning and development
• Build strong relationships with families by sharing updates, photos, and milestones
• Collaborate with teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive workplace
• Model best practices in early childhood education and guide assistant teachers
• Ensure compliance with state licensing and safety standards
