Job summary

The Learning Experience - Newington is seeking engaged teachers to create a welcoming classroom where children learn through play and growth. You will implement the LEAP Curriculum across infant, toddler, or preschool groups, adapting to each child’s needs while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

You will regularly communicate with families about progress and milestones via mobile apps and discussions, and collaborate with staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of professional teaching experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; College ECE coursework preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred; state guidelines must be met.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement the LEAP Curriculum with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschoolers according to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's adventures and achievements via apps and conversations.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement; collaborate with staff and leadership.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment.
