Job summary

The Learning Experience in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a passionate Infant Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing early-learning environment for infants and toddlers. You will implement the LEAP Curriculum, adapt activities to each child’s needs, and communicate regularly with families via apps and in-person meetings.

You will partner with center staff to support enrollment and engagement, maintain classroom safety, model positive behavior, and foster a love of learning through play.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
• High quality developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) knowledge preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role (DCF 45 hours)

Responsibilities

• Implement L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with Infants and Toddlers
• Create a safe, nurturing environment promoting play and learning
• Regularly communicate with parents via apps and personal discussions
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to foster a collaborative environment
• Maintain overall classroom management and safety
• Model a growth mindset to inspire young minds
