Job summary

The Learning Experience #414 in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Infant Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for infants. You will implement developmentally appropriate activities, support emotional and social growth, and partner with families to monitor milestones.

Ideal candidates have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field, and 1 year of teaching experience is preferred. A High School Diploma/GED is acceptable if no degree.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field; degree strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED accepted if no degree.
• 1 year teaching experience preferred or 6 months required.
• Experience caring for infants in a professional setting.
• Patience, nurturing, and reliability essential.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants.
• Implement age-appropriate activities supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Provide attentive, responsive care and support individual routines and milestones.
• Build strong relationships with families and colleagues to foster a warm, supportive atmosphere.
• Communicate with parents about children's milestones and activities via apps and discussions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, developmentally appropriate classroom following health and safety guidelines.
