The Learning Experience – Canton, MI is hiring an Infant Lead Teacher to create a warm, responsive classroom for our youngest learners. You’ll lead an infant classroom, provide attentive care following individual feeding, diapering and sleep routines, and plan developmentally appropriate activities.

We seek someone with a High School Diploma or GED; infant classroom experience is preferred, and CDA or ECE coursework is a plus.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Infant classroom experience preferred.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus.
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
• Knowledge of safe sleep and infant care practices.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging Infant classroom.
• Provide attentive care while following individualized feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules.
• Create age-appropriate sensory, movement, language, and early learning experiences.
• Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
• Observe developmental milestones and maintain required classroom documentation.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
