Job summary

Little Scholars Academy LLC in Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA is seeking three Infant Teachers for full-time positions. The role focuses on providing high-quality care and developmentally appropriate education for children 12–24 months, with a schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The Infant Teacher will implement developmentally appropriate experiences, support family partnerships, and participate in ongoing professional development within a NAEYC-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 semester units in Infant/Toddler Care and Development.
• Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher preferred.
• Candidates encouraged to pursue California Child Development Permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, responsive, and individualized care for infants and toddlers ages 12–24 months.
• Support developmental milestones through play-based learning experiences.
• Foster positive relationships with families and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain consistent routines for feeding, diapering, sleeping, and daily care.
• Observe, document, and assess children's progress using DRDP and other tools.
