Job summary

C.A.R.E. For Me Children's Learning Center in New Jersey seeks a full-time infant teacher with early childhood education experience and a commitment to professional development. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a focus on nurturing infants and toddlers.

Candidates should have a CDA or at least one year of relevant childcare experience, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to maintain a safe, hygienic classroom while supporting developmental milestones.

Qualifications

• CDA or minimum 1 year of professional childcare with infants/toddlers.

• Must clear full background check and health screening.

About This Role

C.A.R.E. For Me Children's Learning Center is looking for a full-time infant teacher with experience in early childhood education and a commitment to the field. Candidate must be committed to professional development, reliable and able to adhere to the hours and schedule given at the time of hire.The hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

What You'll Do

• Build trusting relationships with children and their families
• Communicate daily with parents
• Work with our team of teachers to ensure the proper care of infants and toddlers.
• Encourage children to reach developmental milestones through interaction.
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Child Development Associates (CDA) or minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience working specifically with infants and toddlers.
• Nurturing
