Job summary

The Learning Experience #473 in Argyle, TX is seeking an experienced Infant Teacher to provide loving, developmentally appropriate care for infants from six weeks to around 17 months. You will partner with leadership to ensure classroom compliance and maintain a calm, organized environment.

Responsibilities include daily updates to parents, maintaining schedules, and upholding safety and ratio guidelines while supporting families during early childhood development.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants six weeks to 17 months.
• CPR and pediatric First Aid certification required.
• Willingness to obtain CDA/infant endorsement if not possessed.

As an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience, You Will:

• Provide direct, nurturing care for infants ages six weeks to approximately 17 months.
• Maintain HHSC required staff to child ratios and safe sleep practices at all times.
• Track feeding, diapering, and nap schedules and communicate consistently with parents.
• Provide daily digital updates to parents using the center's parent communication platform.
• Create a calm, structured, and developmentally appropriate routine for each child.
• Partner with the Center Director to maintain classroom compliance and prepare for inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Are 21 years of age or older, preferred.
• Hold a CDA credential with an infant/toddler endorsement, or equivalent early childhood education coursework, or are willing to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of proven, consistent hands on infant care experience required, 3 years preferred.
• Hold current CPR and pediatric First Aid certification, required.
• Can pass a background check and reference checks per agency requirements.
