Job summary

The Learning Experience in Argyle, TX is seeking an experienced Infant Teacher to care for infants from six weeks to about 17 months, maintain safety ratios, and communicate with parents. You will provide daily updates and create developmentally appropriate routines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years proven hands-on infant care; 3 years preferred.
• CDA credential with infant/toddler endorsement, or equivalent coursework.
• Current CPR and pediatric First Aid certification; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, nurturing care for infants ages six weeks to ~17 months.
• Maintain HHSC required staff-to-child ratios and safe sleep practices.
• Track feeding, diapering, and nap schedules; communicate with parents.
• Provide daily digital updates to parents using the center's platform.
• Create a calm, structured, developmentally appropriate routine for each child.
• Partner with the Center Director to maintain classroom compliance and inspections preparation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized classroom at all times.

As an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience, You Will:

• Provide direct, nurturing care for infants ages six weeks to approximately 17 months.
• Maintain HHSC required staff to child ratios and safe sleep practices at all times.
• Track feeding, diapering, and nap schedules and communicate consistently with parents.
• Provide daily digital updates to parents using the center's parent communication platform.
• Create a calm, structured, and developmentally appropriate routine for each child.
• Partner with the Center Director to maintain classroom compliance and prepare for inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment at all times.

• Are 21 years of age or older, preferred.
• Hold a CDA credential with an infant/toddler endorsement, or equivalent early childhood education coursework, or are willing to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of proven, consistent hands on infant care experience required, 3 years preferred.
• Hold current CPR and pediatric First Aid certification, required.
• Can pass a background check and reference checks per agency requirements.
