Job summary

Home of Guiding Hands is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Infant Development Assessments (IDA) team in Imperial Valley. The role involves conducting developmental and speech-language evaluations for infants and toddlers birth to age 3, meeting families in homes and community settings, and preparing comprehensive reports with recommendations for services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) is required.
• Experience with infants and toddlers birth to 3 with delays is preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete developmental and speech-language assessments for infants and toddlers.
• Meet with families and assessment partners to coordinate appointments.
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports and required documentation.
• Assist with Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
• Maintain assessment materials and complete documentation within required timelines.
• Travel throughout San Diego or Imperial County to conduct assessments in homes and community locations.
