Haven For Tots Daycare & Preschool in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking an Infant Room Assistant Teacher to join a caring team and support early development in a loving, safe environment.

Responsibilities include daily infant care, assisting with developmentally appropriate activities, and maintaining a clean classroom while communicating with families and adhering to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
• Experience caring for infants or toddlers in a childcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification current or obtainable.
• Must pass required background check and meet DCFS licensing requirements.
• Patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about childcare.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Support lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities to promote infant development.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized infant classroom environment.

• Follow all childcare health, safety, and licensing regulations and protocols.
