Job summary

Cook Children’s is seeking a Pediatric Feeding Preparation Technician in the Nutrition department. This role prepares and delivers specialized formulas and human milk feedings for infants, children, and adolescents in accordance with physician orders and dietitian instructions.

Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy and safety in preparation, supporting nutrition education, patient screening, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in nutrition, dietitian, food service, or related healthcare role.
• Associate's degree may substitute for the required education and experience.
• Must have knowledge of and the ability to use weights and measures tools and equipment for milk preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver specialized infant, pediatric, and adolescent formulas and human milk feedings according to physician orders and dietitian instructions.
• Ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance in formula and milk preparation.
• Support nutrition education, patient screening, and multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.
