Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of experience in nutrition, dietitian, food service, or related healthcare role is required.
  • Must be able to use mathematical calculations to scale and convert recipes for milk preparation.
  • An associate's degree may substitute for the required education and experience.
  • Must have knowledge of and the ability to use weights and measures tools and equipment for milk preparation.

Responsibilities

  • The Pediatric Feeding Preparation Technician prepares and delivers specialized infant, pediatric, and adolescent formulas and human milk feedings in accordance with physician orders and dietitian instructions.
  • The role supports nutrition education, patient screening, and multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.
