Job summary

Trinity Health in Maywood, IL is seeking a Nutrition Technician to prepare specialty infant formulas and human milk fortifications in a controlled, aseptic environment. Under supervision, you will calculate volumes, maintain sanitation, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation in the EHR.

You will collaborate with registered dietitians, nurses, and physicians, conduct nutrition screenings, and support education for patients while upholding HACCP standards and Epic data entry.

Qualifications

• Nutrition screening and patient education per hospital policy.
• Ability to follow HACCP standards and aseptic technique.
• Accurate calculation of formulas and labeling for patient feeds.
• Excellent documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Prepare specialized infant formulas and human milk fortifications per orders.
• Maintain sanitation and safety; clean equipment before/after prep.
• Prepare feedings using ENFit equipment and PPE.
• Calculate volumes, yields, and additives using calculators/Excel.
• Verify orders with dietitians, nurses, physicians, and NPs.
• Enter charges and generate EHR reports for feeding orders.
