Job summary

The Ymca-of-Northern-Colorado is seeking creative, enthusiastic early childhood assistant teachers to join our infant program. This part-time, year-round position up to 28 hours per week offers opportunities to support the curriculum and engage with children aged 6 weeks through 6 years in a safe, loving environment.

A bilingual (Spanish/English) staff member earns a 10% salary bonus, and we provide extensive training, benefits, and professional growth opportunities within a respectful team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Colorado AECT qualification required for Colorado.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required.
• Previous experience with children and a willingness to participate in trainings.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the program curriculum for children and families.
• Provide care to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in a safe, clean environment.
• Develop positive relationships with children and parents; act as a role model.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for creative, enthusiastic early childhood assistant teachers to join our infant program. The ideal candidate radiates fun but balances that positive energy and playfulness with maturity, thoughtfulness and experience in actively engaging with youth in a safe, healthy manner.Strong customer service skills and a positive work attitude are a must, as you will be a role model for our infants. Our center provides a supportive work environment where all staff members feel valued and respected. We also provide extensive training and learning opportunities to allow teachers to advance in their early childhood career.This position is part time, year-round up to 28 hours per week.
