Job summary

Gilder Search Group is assisting a warm, engaged family in Lower Manhattan to hire a full-time nanny for their 3-month-old child. The position is long-term and hands-on, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM, with occasional later days and 47.5 hours per week, starting in early October 2026.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years of professional nanny experience, fluent Spanish, CPR/First Aid certification, up-to-date vaccinations, and comfort with app-based feeding/schedule tracking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience.
• Fluent Spanish speaker.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Up-to-date vaccinations (COVID-19, flu, Tdap).
• Occasional travel to upstate home with family.

Responsibilities

• Provide full care for a 3-month-old, following family feeding/sleep routines.
• Plan active outings — park visits, playdates, and age-appropriate activities.
• Track feeding and schedule via app as directed by parents.
• Light household tasks during nap times (laundry, groceries, light meal prep).
• Occasional travel with the family to their upstate home.
• Occasional flexibility for one later evening per week, with advance notice.
