Job summary

Tykes & Teens is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide outpatient therapy for children and families in the community. The role emphasizes comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and discharge criteria, with a focus on growth and positive outcomes in natural settings such as home or school.

Requirements include a Master's degree in a relevant field, Florida licensure or intern status, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, LMHC/LMFT, or related human services field.
• Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish/Haitian) but not required.
• Valid Florida driver's license and auto liability insurance.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Licensed or registered intern under Florida Statutes 490 or 491 with two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapeutic interventions to children and their families in outpatient settings.
• Complete intake forms, documentation, and discharge planning by specified dates.
• Maintain outcome measures for effectiveness of treatment.
• Collaborate with team and support licensure efforts via supervision.
