Job summary

Tykes & Teens is seeking licensed or registered mental health professionals to provide outpatient therapy to children and their families in Florida. You will assess treatment needs, develop and review plans, and determine discharge criteria while ensuring timely intake, documentation, and discharge planning.

We offer CE-Broker supported continuing education, weekly staffing for clinical growth, and supervision toward licensure. A team-oriented environment and flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another applicable human services degree.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish/Haitian) is a plus but not required.
• A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance is required.
• An ability to work in a team environment.
• Licensed or registered intern under Florida Statutes 490 or 491- and two years of experience in working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapeutic interventions to children and families in outpatient settings.
• Assess treatment needs, develop and review treatment plans, and determine discharge criteria.
• Complete and maintain intake forms, documentation, and discharge planning by deadlines; track outcome measures.

Our therapists provide psychotherapeutic interventions to children and their families, including assessing treatment needs, developing and reviewing treatment plans, and determining discharge criteria in an outpatient setting. Therapists are responsible for completing and maintaining required intake forms, documentation, and discharge planning by specified dates, and maintaining outcome measures for the effectiveness of treatment.

Tykes & Teens is a CE-Broker supported organization and we provide over 12 hours of continued education per year in addition to weekly staffing to support your clinical growth. We also provide free Clinical Supervision toward licensure.

The experience you will bring:

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another applicable human services degree.

Licensed positions require:

An active and clear State of Florida License - LCSW, LMHC, LMFT.

The pay range is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
