Job summary

The Learning Experience - Jenison is hiring an Infant Lead Teacher to create a nurturing environment where babies receive individualized care while safely exploring the world.

In this full-time role, you will lead the infant classroom, partner closely with families, and design meaningful early learning experiences for each child throughout the day.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with benefits including health, dental, vision, paid time off, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred.
• Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver.
• Nurturing, attentive, reliable, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences
• Provide responsive, individualized care for each child
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Engage infants through language, music, movement, sensory exploration, and play
• Observe and document developmental milestones
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
• Communicate regularly and professionally with families
• Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroom
• Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements
