Job summary

The Learning Experience - Jenison in Jenison, MI is seeking an experienced Infant Lead Teacher to lead daily infant routines, provide responsive, individualized care, and partner closely with families to support each child's development. You will foster a warm, safe, and engaging classroom where babies explore and grow.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, $17-$20 per hour based on experience, and benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, paid training, and employee

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred.
• Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences.
• Provide responsive, individualized care for each child.
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum.
• Engage infants through language, music, movement, sensory exploration and play.
• Observe and document developmental milestones.
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroom.
• Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements.

Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

For an infant, every day brings something new - a new sound, movement, expression, connection, or milestone.

The Learning Experience - Jenison is seeking an experienced Infant Lead Teacher to create a nurturing classroom where babies receive individualized care while being encouraged to safely explore the world around them.

You’ll lead the classroom, partner closely with families, and create meaningful early learning experiences throughout each child's day.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences
