Job summary

The Learning Experience - Cascade in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Infant Lead Teacher for full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Pay is $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. You will lead the Infant classroom, provide individualized care, and support developmental milestones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required.
• Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred.
• Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily routines and learning experiences of the Infant classroom.
• Provide responsive, individualized care based on each child's needs.
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Introduce infants to language, music, movement, sensory experiences, and play.
• Observe and document developmental milestones.
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroom.
• Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements.
