Qualifications

• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families and faculty.
• Two years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs in connection with children.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Family Communication: Maintain open, effective communication with families about child progress.
• Health and Safety: Supervise activities to uphold health standards and licensing regulations.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Assessment and Documentation: Observe and document children's learning to inform activities.
• Team Collaboration: Support assistants and resource teachers in a collaborative environment.
• Behavior Guidance: Model positive guidance for social-emotional growth.
