Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA credential preferred.
• 1-2 years of infant experience in a licensed childcare or preschool.
• State-required pre-service training completed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and relate well with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate openly with families about child progress and activities.
• Uphold health and safety standards and licensing requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Observe and document children's learning to inform activities.
• Support Assistant and Resource Teachers and foster teamwork.
• Model positive guidance for social-emotional growth and conflict resolution.
