Beacon Hill Schools in Athens, Watkinsville, and Bogart, GA seeks a passionate Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood team. You will nurture young minds and support learning in a Preschool environment, working Monday through Friday.

The role emphasizes curriculum development, positive classroom management, ongoing communication with parents, and alignment with state licensing requirements. Minimum 1–2 years of licensed childcare teaching experience; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s/Associate’s/adh furthers in ECE or Child Development aligned with state licensing
• 1–2 years teaching in licensed childcare
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Must meet all state licensing requirements including background checks
• Strong understanding of child development and best practices in early education
• Excellent communication with children, parents, and staff
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans for diverse learners
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and engage physically with children

• Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote positive interactions among students.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
• Foster a love for learning through creative play, hands-on activities, and structured lessons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate’s, TCD, TCC, or CDA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)
• Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively
