Qualifications

• Passion for infant and toddler development and early childhood education.
• Experience leading an infant/toddler classroom is a plus.
• CDA or ECE coursework or related degree preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership in a classroom.

Job Responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom that encourages curiosity, exploration, and discovery.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Foster a nurturing atmosphere where infants and toddlers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow.
• Lead and support classroom staff while promoting positive teamwork and collaboration.
• Observe developmental milestones, document progress, and communicate regularly with families.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom while following licensing requirements and health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for infant and toddler development and early childhood education.
• Previous experience in an infant/toddler classroom preferred; leadership experience is a plus.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related degree preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills.
• Patience, creativity, dependability, and the ability to build positive, nurturing relationships.
• Must meet Oregon childcare licensing and background registry requirements.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain and maintain certification.
